The Saatchi Gallery and Chelsea College of Art & Design are delighted to offer Art and Design teachers the opportunity to join Creative Networking and Idea Generation Workshops based in the Saatchi Gallery in Chelsea.

This Creative Workshop will be spent with a practicing artist and short course tutor from Chelsea College of Art & Design, and will provide teachers with an introduction to the Saatchi Gallery and its exhibition programme as a potential teaching tool for both pupils in Years 10 & 11 and 12 & 13.  Teachers will be able to participate in practical activities responding to the current collections in the Gallery in order to generate ideas to be used with students in a classroom environment.  Where possible, teachers will be encouraged to bring their students back to the exhibition to be inspired directly by the exhibits.

Teachers will have the opportunity to exchange ideas with other teachers, network and to be inspired and reenergised by a day dedicated to creativity.

Experience required
(delegates must currently be teaching at secondary level)
